Isn\u2019t it interface, and what overtakes a space and what comes in and what\u00a0<em>is moving through rooms over time,\u00a0<\/em>people, light, pathways, the shadow sculpture, the light sculpture, pull together elements that already exist, meditate, and take cover. \u00a03-D light and shadow sculpture\u00a0about controlling the light, catching it, the shadows, baffling them, making them, focusing them, I can do all this now, I have found thin lenses so lightweight they mount to the wire with a nod of the pliers, and harmless as a piece of cardboard.<\/p>\n<p>Enough thinking, it says to me, just start making.<\/p>\n<p>Control of the whole body of the piece, control\/agency over what space the piece creates for the body of the viewer, not presence of the regarded, but presence of experience, an alternative infrastructure that intersects the room.\u00a0 (is\u00a0<em>that<\/em>\u00a0the d&amp;g word?)<\/p>\n<p>Quit quit writing and start assembling.\u00a0I have to hopeguess to create without seeing. \u00a0Have you seen a written message rolled up and corked inside a glass bottle? With your naked eyes?
