I’ll make into an archway at the entrance of the world I build myself.  I think of the ceramic 9 Pines Art sign that Sergei made for our studio homestead in Kentucky.  Each letter was an exquisite stoneware sculpture that he made with a thick, flat base and four pre-formed holes for rubber grommets and bolts that held it to the Ponderosa-style arch of weather treated 4 x 4’s we dug the post holes for ourselves in the rocky Kentucky hills over 2 hell-days.

The 9 was a mossy green glaze I made called My Adaptation of Hamada Green, the P was a matte lavender glaze recipe from LillStreet ceramic studio, and the i was oatmeal-looking spodume, but the n was dark, shiny cobalt  blue, and at night it became invisible, even in headlights, so that after dark, we inhabited 9 Pes Art.
