I went through the images of a few books about Installation Art, and I accidentally read a little of Faye Ran’s text, and it seems her picture might share characteristics with mine. I appreciate writing that can work in Marshall McLuhan without triggering my gag reflex. She hones in on the marrow of the McLuhan idea , which is the subjective/primary experience of the media (the meaning) comes from the rhetorical configuration and delivery systems of the media. Then here is where it gets difficult for me to stay with McLuhan because he gets all shiny-spurred and starts spouting about The Media, forgetting that The Content and The Media create each other, and the sight of the tangle makes The Message in the mind of the viewer.
