future

and in the Now,  I prepare for tomorrow.  and I don’t mean the Tomorrow that insurance companies make me pay for the destruction of in advance, all in my head.  I mean the tomorrow that arrives at 8:30 am DST to which I have to drive about a half an hour in another machine I count on.  and if there’s a problem I’ll have to call on yet a third machine, this one afloat on the Great Mysteries like a glass bottom boat.  just get there.  prepared, arrive on time with the things I need to bring.  wearing the not too shirt.  and some pants for chrissake.  and shoes but not ones that make me look mean or even too determined.
