and in the Now, I prepare for tomorrow. and I don’t mean the Tomorrow that insurance companies make me pay for the destruction of in advance, all in my head. I mean the tomorrow that arrives at 8:30 am DST to which I have to drive about a half an hour in another machine I count on. and if there’s a problem I’ll have to call on yet a third machine, this one afloat on the Great Mysteries like a glass bottom boat. just get there. prepared, arrive on time with the things I need to bring. wearing the not too shirt. and some pants for chrissake. and shoes but not ones that make me look mean or even too determined.
