Oct 20 13 Nothing to do but do

Ha! We have light!  Now is to get up on the scaffold and direct the lights through the object, and wire them there.  It will be hot to the fingertips, and prickly.  I’ll scorch my retina a couple times by accident.  And still it has the nerve to say to me, put the light in the ceiling well right at the very very top.  Which will mean more wire and all. But I am in service to it, I really am, it certainly can’t start being my problem now, i just work here.  Well, it makes itself magnifique, I think my color use ought to be ssssssubtle and soft.  I pray on my knees and shins and the tops of my feet, my forehead and forearms, the backs of my hands, palms up and open, please, take it all, I say, and piece shows me its botanical machine self. not like it hadn’t been saying all along, but, you know, here it is.  I know you gonna like it.
