7 mirrors visually interrupted and reorganized 4 walls of contiguous drawing and painting. The viewer participants saw the self many times in the walk through.  Crit committee formed a circle in the middle of the room, backs to the mirrors, and discussed how the sight of the self was too disturbing. Three were shaking their heads and looking at the ground. You can’t see the art because all the attention goes to the image of the self, was the consensus.  but the selfie was on the way.  I took pains not to reflect the body in the photos, and now I wish I had.
